It's a Blustery Day in the Hundred Acre Wood

Today reminded me of Winnie the Pooh.  It was just windy and windy and cold and off and on rainy.  Why can't Utah just pick one form of weather for the month and stick to it? Rather then its regular: Hot, cold COLD, HOT HOT HOT, COLD-D-D.  

Saturday was the Festival of Colors for Holi and so my friends and I decided to go.  It was great fun!

So me and my friends quite enjoyed getting blasted by colorful chalk.  

Bringing Spring

Spray of purple

Dust of yellow

Splash of pink

Dots of green

Colors fill the air

What does spring bring?

Happiness and joy

Love and prosperity.

Let your colors shine.

Don't wash them off

Wear them proud.

Like Spring time

Blossom and Grow

Free Fish

Shiny little fin

Swift in the river

Reflects like bright tin

Swimming in rhythm

Fish are free

Flopping in the hot

Swishing in the cool

As we can be.

Guided upon path

River or stream

Lakes and Ponds

They must be,

To live

And not die

Is where you be,

Little fishy

On dry land,

Or out to sea.

Have wisdom

In this journey.

Travel freely

But cautious

Swim quickly

Admire often.

Don't bound yourself

To a stream. 

But take it

To the ocean.

The ocean is free.

The ocean is yours.

Swim little fishy.

Fish are free.

Half

You can be half empty

Half way to death

A life half lived

A glass half gone.

Filling up as we go

Never knowing whats ahead

But continually filling.

And even death can't conquer

Who knew that fortunes came true

Today they did. Weird.

Today me and my friends went to Panda Express and I got a fortune, "Wednesday is Your Lucky Day"

Then the lady gave us free food.  I guess it was my lucky day.
